Nick is a director, choreographer, and creative director whose work centers on bringing musical productions and large-scale artistic experiences to life. Rooted in emotionally grounded storytelling and a strong visual point of view, his work has earned regional recognition and acclaim throughout the Northeast.

As a director and choreographer, Nick approaches the rehearsal room as a collaborative space for discovery. Rather than prescribing choices, he guides actors and dancers toward decisions that are grounded in character, text, and the needs of the larger ensemble. By fostering curiosity, conversation, and shared ownership, he creates an environment where artists are empowered to contribute meaningfully to the storytelling while maintaining a clear and cohesive artistic vision.

As a creative director, Nick extends that same philosophy beyond the stage, shaping the broader artistic identity of productions, programs, events, and community-based initiatives. His work connects performance, design, programming, audience experience, and institutional storytelling to create cohesive artistic experiences from initial concept through public engagement. Whether developing new programming, leading interdisciplinary collaborations, or curating large-scale cultural experiences, he approaches each project with an emphasis on narrative clarity, accessibility, collaboration, and impact.

Nick’s creative process is grounded in a text-first approach, treating the work of playwrights, composers, and lyricists as the foundation for artistic decision-making. He approaches source material with care, curiosity, and respect while encouraging collaborators to examine how each creative choice advances the story. His work seeks to honor artistic intention while discovering contemporary, visually compelling ways to connect established and new works with modern audiences.

During his four years at Westinghouse Arts Academy, Nick’s artistic leadership helped establish the school’s musical theatre program as a significant presence within the region. Productions under his direction and creative leadership earned twenty Gene Kelly Awards for Excellence in High School Musical Theatre, including four consecutive Best Musical titles from 2022 through 2025 within their respective categories.

Nick’s work extends beyond individual productions into broader artistic leadership within the arts and culture sector. His experience spans theatrical production, arts education, creative programming, community engagement, artist development, and large-scale cultural initiatives. Across each area of his work, he brings together artists, educators, organizations, and audiences around a shared creative vision, using the arts not only to produce compelling work but to build meaningful opportunities for connection, collaboration, and artistic growth.
